Last Time Out

The Bulldogs picked up a draw and a loss on the road last weekend, scoring a goal in the last minute to push Wayne State 1-1 before falling to Augustana 2-0.

A scoreless first half from both the Bulldogs and Wildcats would not be broken until the 60th minute with a successful shot from the side of WSC. The Bulldogs would play from a deficit up until the final seconds of the game where Anna Tobias tied things up on a successful penalty shot to help UMD avoid the loss.

The saving grace for the Bulldogs in their previous game against WSC would come back to bite them, falling to an early deficit after a successful penalty shot from Augustana in the 19th minute. UMD fought to find their way into the offensive zone throughout the second half, but a pair of late yellow cards would stifle their momentum and lead to another Viking goal in the 89th minute.
