A pair of first goals of the 2024 season came for the Bulldogs in their matchup against Cougars, starting off with an early goal from Morgan Eckerle to give UMD an early advantage. USF would equalize things just before the end of the first half, setting the score at 1-1 before the halftime intermission. Kailey Tomzak put the Dogs ahead yet again in the 66th minute on a free kick opportunity, however the Cougars would tie things up in the 86th minute to force the draw.

An early goal from SMSU in the 21st minute forced the Bulldogs to play from a deficit for a majority of the afternoon matchup. Aisley Allen capitalized on her opportunity to be the hero for UMD, scoring her first goal at the end of the game in the 88th minute to force the 1-1 draw.

Head coach Greg Cane nears another career milestone, sitting two victories away from 300 career wins. Now in his 30th season with the Bulldogs and 34th season overall as a collegiate head coach, Cane currently holds a 298-241-65 coaching record.
