Last Time Out

The Bulldogs hosted the Winona State Warriors last Sunday for their annual Senior Day matchup, falling in a hard fought 1-0 loss in their second to last game of the year.

UMD came out swinging in the first half, picking up both of their shots on goal and four of their five total shots of the first half within the first eight minutes of the game. The defense also held strong keeping the Warriors scoreless going into the halftime intermission.

WSU took the lead with an early second half goal in the 63rd minute, picking up the only goal of the afternoon. The Bulldogs struggled to get anything going, tallying only one more shot in the second half.

Scouting Report - Bemidji State

The Bemidji State University Beavers are 8-6-3 overall and 6-4-3 against NSIC opponents this season, coming off a two loss weekend against Minnesota State Mankato and Concordia St. Paul.

The Bulldogs went head to head with the Beavers one time at the end of the 2023 season, falling 1-0 on the road in Bemidji.

Bulldog soccer is 16-10-4 against Bemidji State throughout program history, and 2-7-2 against them since the 2013 season. UMD looks to make one last statement this season, while the Beavers look to close things out on their way to defend their 2023 NSIC Tournament title.
