The University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team hosted their 2024 season finale tonight at James S. Malosky Stadium, falling 3-0 to the Bemidji State University Beavers.

Final Score: UMD (0) - BSU (3)

UMD fell to an early deficit with the Beavers getting an early goal on the board in the ninth minute of the game. BSU would add on to their lead with another goal in the 26th minute, going into the halftime intermission with a two goal advantage. The Bulldogs were able to total three shots and two corner kicks throughout the opening half and hold the Beavers to five total shots.

A second half goalkeeper change marked a momentum shift for the Bulldogs, who went on to tally five shots on goal over eight total shots throughout the final 45 minutes of play. The shift however would not be enough to keep the Beavers out of the goal, adding on a third goal to their lead in the 80th minute before the end of the game.

The Bulldogs out-shot the Beavers throughout the game, tallying five shots on goal over 12 total shots compared to BSU's four shots on goal over 11 total shots…Anna Tobias collected three shots on goal over 5 total shots after playing all 90 minutes for UMD…Jordan Rosenfeld collected the only save for the Bulldogs after coming in to start the second half and facing six BSU shots.
