The University of Minnesota Duluth baseball team prepares for the final stretch in their 2024 regular season, hosting five straight home games with a mid-week doubleheader against the Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears and a Senior Day matchup as part of a three game series against the University of Mary Marauders.

The Season So Far

The Bulldogs are coming off a tough 0-5 week against the Winona State Warriors and University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles. 

Sophomore third baseman Gabe Richardson had a productive week from the plate, going 10-20 (.500) with four runs and seven RBI's. He also continues to be a stable presence in the Bulldog defense, holding a .900 FLD% throughout the week with four putouts and five assists on 10 total chances.

The Bulldogs now move into a 16-28 overall record and a 12-23 conference record on the season, placing them at 13th place in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) standings.

The Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears hold a 24-20 overall record and a 16-19 conference record so far this season, putting them at 9th in the conference standings. The Bulldogs are 12-16 against the Golden Bears since 2014, most recently falling to them last season 18-6 at home.

The University of Mary Marauders hold a 22-21 overall record and an 18-15 conference record so far this season, putting them at 6th in the conference standings. The Bulldogs are 18-11 against the Marauders since 2014, most recently falling to them last season 13-7 on the road.
