This weekend the University of Minnesota Duluth track and field teams will spend both Friday, Jan. 31, and Saturday, Feb.1 down in Mankato at Minnesota State University for the Mark Schuck Open and Multi.
Tomorrow, the Bulldogs will send just two men to compete in the pole vault. Junior Baden Bastian and freshman Noah Rodenwald are scheduled to take the runway at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The rest of the squad will travel down Saturday morning. Men's long jump (scheduled for 11:00 a.m.) will be the first event of the day for the Bulldogs. The women's 60m hurdle prelims will kick off the running events at 12:30 p.m.
Featuring a whopping 27 teams, the Mark Schuck will give UMD the chance to match up against several conference opponents, as well provide the opportunity to compete against plenty of outside and unattached competition.
