The University of Minnesota Duluth Volleyball Team had four players earn 2025 All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) accolades, league officials announced Thursday afternoon. Senior Kylie Broten, juniors Madeline Guetzkow and Paige Decker and sophomore Ava Jones were each named to the All-NSIC Second Team, as selected by league head coaches. It was the first all-conference recognition for each player.

Broten ranks fourth in the league with a .388 hitting percentage and 17th in blocks with a 0.78 blocks-per-set average. She leads the Bulldogs in total kills (253), solo blocks (15) and total blocks (70.0), and ranks second on the team in total points (295.5) and points per set (3.28). She ranked in the top-three nationally in hitting percentage for five-straight weeks and top-five for nine-straight weeks and led the NCAA Division II in hitting percentage from Sept. 23-27. The middle blocker hit .500 or better in seven matches, including four in league play, and tallied 10 or more kills in seven NSIC matches. Her .696 hitting percentage vs. MSU Moorhead on Oct. 18 is tied for the ninth-highest percentage in NCAA Division II this season on a minimum 20 attempts.

Guetzkow ranks ninth in the NSIC and leads UMD in points with a 3.88 points-per-set average, while ranking 13th in kills per set with 3.17 and 16th in blocks per set with 0.81. Despite missing three matches due to injury, the right side hitter leads the team in total points (303.0) and block assists (58), is second in total kills (247), total blocks (63.0) and digs per set (2.37), and third in service aces (22). Guetzkow tallied six double-doubles over the course of the season, including three in conference action, and posted 20 or more kills on three occasions, all in NSIC play.

Decker ranks eighth in the conference in hitting percentage with a .344 mark, while ranking 11th in blocks with 0.91 per set on the season. She leads the Maroon and Gold in blocks per set and block assists (58), while ranking second in hitting percentage, third in kills per set (2.51), points per set (3.00) and total points (204.0) and fourth in total kills (171) despite missing six matches due to injury from October 3-18. The middle blocker hit .500 or better in six matches, including three in league play, and totaled 10 or more kills in six NSIC contests. She ranks 57th nationally in hitting percentage and her .733 hitting percentage vs. Bemidji State on Sept. 23 is tied for the 12th-highest in NCAA Division II this season on 15-19 attempts.

One of only two players to play in all 92 sets this season, Jones ranks fourth in the NSIC in assists per set with 11.21 and total assists with 1,031. The setter also ranks 16th in league standings with a 0.34 service aces per game average. Her assists-per-set average ranks ninth nationally, while her total assists put her in the top-10 among the nation's best. Following the first week of play, Jones earned NSIC Setter of the Week distinction and led the NCAA (all divisions) in assists with a 12.86 assists per set average. Jones tallied six double-doubles on the season, all in NSIC action, and dished out 50 or more assists six times in league play. Her 64 assists vs. then-No. 14 Wayne State is tied for the sixth-highest total in NCAA Division II this season in a five-set match.

The Bulldogs close out their regular-season schedule at home this weekend against Winona State and No. 6 Concordia-St. Paul.
