Three University of Minnesota Duluth baseball players --
Sam Kliber,
Gabe Richardson and
Garrett Stauffacher -- were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Richard, a junior from Eau Claire, Wis., returns to the CSC All-District Team after landing the honor last season. With a 3.88 cumulative GPA in mechanical engineering, Richardson started in 52 games for the Bulldogs this past season and had a team-high 177 at bats. With a batting average of .277, Richard also had 32 RBIs on 49 hits, including eight doubles and three home runs.
Kliber, a sophomore from Maple Grove, Minn. is a pre-business major with a 3.64 cumulative GPA. The pitcher/middle infielder had a .383 batting average in 46 games played this past season, with 59 hits, including 12 doubles, two triples, one home run and 35 RBI.
Stauffacher, a sophomore who hails from Ham Lake, Minn., has a 3.51 cumulative GPA in finance. He posted a .324 batting average in 2025 and started 53 games, turning in 56 hits, which included five doubles, one triple, snd seven home runs. He also added 37 RBIs and had a 1.000% fielding percentage in the outfield.
