The University of Minnesota Duluth volleyball team had four players earn All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) accolades, league officials announced Thursday. In addition, freshman outside hitter
Kenzie Kiminski was named the NSIC Freshman of the Year.
Senior right side hitter
Madeline Guetzkow and senior middle blocker
Paige Decker each earned a spot on the All-NSIC First Team, while Kiminski and junior setter
Ava Jones were named to the All-NSIC Second Team.

Guetzkow has proven to be one of the top all-around players in the conference in 2026, averaging 4.07 points and 3.49 kills per set, both of which rank in the top-six in the NSIC. She also ranks in the top-11 in hitting percentage (.333) and service aces per set (0.35), while ranking second on the team in digs per set (2.69). Guetzkow has tallied 10 or more kills in 18 matches and hit .400 or better in nine of those contests. She also has eight double-doubles on the year. The Mayer, Minn., native was named the AVCA Division II National Player of the Week on Sept. 29 and the NSIC Player of the Week on Sept. 28. This is Guetzkow's second NSIC honor, as she earned second-team recognition last season.
Decker joins Guetzkow on the first team as one of the league's most efficient hitters. The Rochester, Minn., native has been at the top of the NSIC leaderboard in hitting percentage for the majority of the season and currently leads the conference with a .410 clip. The middle blocker is also averaging 3.09 kills and 0.77 blocks per set, both of which rank in the league's top-20. She has hit .400 or better in 11 of UMD's 18 NSIC matches this season and .500 or better in eight of those contests. This is Decker's second NSIC honor, as she earned second-team recognition in 2025.
The only rookie named to either all-conference squad, Kiminski earned a spot on the All-NSIC second team in addition to being named the NSIC Freshman of the Year. The Floodwood, Minn., native leads all NSIC rookies and ranks 21st in the conference with a 2.81 kills per set average. She has 10 or more kills in nine matches, which includes two 20-plus kill performances, and has four double-doubles on the year.
Kiminski is just the third Bulldog to be named NSIC Freshman of the Year and the first since Emily Torve earned the distinction in 2016.
Jones joins Kiminski on the All-NSIC Second Team for the second-straight season. She has guided the Bulldogs to one of the best offenses in the nation, as UMD ranks third in the league and eighth in NCAA Division II in kills per set, while also ranking 26th nationally and fifth in the league in hitting percentage. Jones is averaging 11.04 assists per set to rank third in the NSIC and fourth nationally, and also ranks in the top-five in league standings in aces per set. She leads the Bulldogs with nine double-doubles on the season and has earned NSIC Setter of the Week honors three times in 2026.
Concordia-St. Paul's Makenna Nold was named the 2026 NSIC Player of the Year, Southwest Minnesota State's Ashlynn Schroeder earned NSIC Libero of the Year honors and Wayne State's Kim DePew and Scott Kneifl were named the NSIC Assistant Coach of the Year and NSIC Coach of the Year, respectively.
UMD will close out the regular season at home this weekend when it hosts Minot State and UMary at Romano Gymnasium.
