The University of Minnesota Duluth men's and women's cross country teams unveiled their 2026 schedule Thursday, five regular season meets in all, with the opener on September 4th at the River Town Invitational in River Falls, Wis.

The Bulldog women's team – who will celebrate its 52nd season of competition in 2026 - will join the men at the St. Olaf Invitational on Sept. 19 in Northfield, Minn., followed by the Lewis Crossover on Romeville, Ill. on Saturday, Oct. 10 . UMD's last tune-up before the conference meet will be the Winona State Classic on Friday, Oct. 23 in Winona, Minn.

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship Meet will be in Sioux Falls, SD. on Nov. 7, hosted by Augustana University, and the Bulldogs will take their crack at an NCAA berth at the NCAA Central Region Championships on Nov. 21 back in Sioux Falls.  Any Bulldogs that qualify will travel to Lawrence, Kan. for the NCAA Championships on Dec. 5.

The Bulldog men finished third in the NSIC Championship meet in 2024 and 14th in the NCAA Central Region meet, while the women finished fourth in the NSIC and 12th in the NCAA Central Region meet one season ago.
