Madeline Guetzkow was named National Player of the Week by AVCA for Division II. The Senior from Mayer, Minnesota had 5.5 kills per set and 5.75 points per set and a massive hitting percentage of .660 on the way for a Bulldogs 6-0 sweep on the weekend against Bemidji State and Minnesota-Crookston.

Guetzkow's recognition is the 15th National Player of the Week for the University of Minnesota Duluth Women's Volleyball program, and the first since Sarah Kelly in 2017.

The Bulldogs go back to work today when they play Minnesota State-Moorhead at 6:00 p.m.
