BULLDOG CAREER
2017 (Junior) Was one of three Bulldogs to start and play in all 19 games • tallied 1,495 minutes, the fifth most on the team • played at least the distance in six occasions • scored her only goal in the 2-2 draw against Concordia-St. Paul on Sept. 17 • registered three assists including one in the NSIC playoff game against Minnesota State Mankato on Nov. 1 • selected to All-NSIC Academic Team. 

2016 (Sophomore) Started all 17 games she appeared in for UMD • earned All-NSIC Honorable Mention status • netted her first collegiate goal, a game-decider, in the season opener against Wisconsin-Parkside • also marked her second game-winner against Wayne State on Oct. 21 • picked up an assist in games versus Northern Michigan and Minnesota Crookston • picked up a season-best three shots on goal against St. Cloud State • recorded a .733 shot on goal percentage, first on UMD among players with more than 0.5 shots/game • selected to All-NSIC Academic Team.

2015 (Freshman) Appeared in 17 games including 13 starts in her first collegiate go-around at UMD • notched her first collegiate point with an assist in UMD's 3-0 victory over Northern Michigan on Sept. 13 • played in all 110 minutes in UMD's 2-2 tie at U-Mary on Oct. 18.

BEFORE UMD A 2015 graduate of Eastview High School • played three seasons and started two for Eastview • named team captain her senior season • earned an All-South Suburban Conference Honorable Mention in her senior year • played in conference championship games as a sophomore and junior • voted team award of Ms. Defense her freshman season • played on Dakota Rev club soccer team which won the State Cup in 2015 •  also started two seasons in basketball as a point guard and one season as a distance runner in track & field.

PERSONALBorn Elizabeth Louise Fontes on July 11, 1997 in Burnsville, Minn. • daughter of Charlene and Ronald Fontes • has one brother, Matthew • member of LINC (Leaders Interested in Community) during her junior and senior years of high school • majoring in communication at UMD.
