BULLDOG CAREER
Played for the Thunder Bay Border Cats of the Northwoods League following the 2014 and 2015 seasons and the Duluth Huskies following the 2015 season.

2015 (Junior) One of the two players to start all 51 games for UMD · his .380/.479/.570 batting line marked career highs in each category, as did his 52 runs scored and 49 batted in · drew a team-high 34 walks · posted a season-high nine-game hitting streak from Mar. 21 to Apr 3 · lifted a pair of triples against St. Michael's (Vt.) on Mar. 17 · slugged a home run and a double, driving in three in the tail end of a doubleheader against Minnesota State on Apr. 4 · went 6-for-9 with 8 RBI, 2 HR, and 6 BB in a four-game series against Bemidji State on Apr. 17-18.

2014 (Sophomore) Started 33 games on the left side of the infield and as a designated hitter for UMD, starting slowly before coming on strong in the final month of the season · hit home runs in three straight games against Sioux Falls on April 18-19 · went 3-for-3 with a homer, two RBI, andthree runs scored vs. St. Michael's on Mar. 16 · finished the season with a .953 fielding mark and just five errors.

BEFORE UMD A 2012 graduate of Rhinelander High School · played three seasons for coach Joe Waksnonski and the Hodogs · received All-Wisconsin Valley conference first team selections in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons · named a second team All-District player in his senior year · earned Academic All-State honors in his junior and senior campaigns · also played football as a two-way player and basketball as a point guard at Rhinelander · received an All-Conference selection as a linebacker.
 
PERSONAL Born Kyle Lawrence Comer on Apr. 1, 1994 in Germany · son of Robert and Shannon Comer · has two siblings, Hayden and Bradley · majoring in exercise science at UMD.
