2016 (Senior) Voted the NSIC’s Preseason Player of the Year · named to NCBWA Preseason All-American Second Team and All-Central Region Team.

2015 (Junior) Earned his second career All-America nod by Daktronics while playing in 51 games for the Bulldogs · voted to All-Central Region First Team by ABCA and Daktronics, Second Team by Baseball Writers · earned NSIC Player of the Week honors on Apr. 20 · reached base in all but seven games and had a hit in all but ten games · drove in five runs and crossed the plate four times on a 3-for-5 games against Southwest Minnesota State on Apr. 8 · drove in eight runs and crossed the plate four times while going 5-for-5 with two doubles and two home runs against Bemidji State on Apr. 18 · had a hit in 13 of UMD's final 15 games and 20 of their final 22 · set Bulldog single season records for putouts (462) and total bases (137).

2014 (Sophomore) Started all 41 games for the Bulldogs at first base or designated hitter · finished the season with 15 multi-hit games · went 5-for-8 with four RBIs, four runs scored, two triples, and a double in a doubleheader with Saint Michael's (Vt.) College on Mar. 16 · belted his first home run of the season in a 4-for-8 doubleheader performance against Concordia-St. Paul (Apr. 2) · had back-to-back three-hit games vs. Upper Iowa and Northern State on Apr. 22 and 25 · went 4-for-7 with five RBIs, a home run, two doubles, and one run scored against Minnesota-Crookston on May 3.

BEFORE UMD: A 2012 graduate of Coon Rapids High School · started two years for coach Jerry Coe and the Cardinals · received All-Northwest Suburban Conference in his junior and senior seasons · earned All-section honors as a senior captain in 2012 · also played three years of hockey as a defenseman · earned a pair of All-Conference honorable mentions while at Coon Rapids.
 
PERSONAL: Born Alex Patrick Wojciechowski (whoa-jik-how-skee) on Mar. 17, 1994 in Marshall, Minnesota · son of Kevin and Colleen Wojckiechowski · known as “Wojo” to teammates · will play alongside his brother, Tyler, with the Bulldogs this season · majoring in mathematics at UMD.
