BULLDOG CAREER2014-15 (Junior) Immediately made an impact with the Bulldogs, taking over starting duties in 27 of 30 games played for UMD • scored a seaosn-high 26 points thanks to a 14-of-15 night from the free throw line at Southwest Baptist on Nov. 15 • scored 22 points on 6-of-6 from three-point range against Minnesota-Crookston on Jan. 10 • grabbed a season-high nine rebounds to go with 12 points against Upper Iowa on Feb. 6 • dished five assists against Minot State on Jan. 23 in Minot • scored nine points and two assists in UMD's NSIC Tournament victory over Winona State on Feb. 25.

BEFORE UMD: Played two seasona at Kishwaukee Junior College and head coach Rob Buss • named First Team All-Arrowhead Conference as a sophomore and Second Team as a freshman • two-time All-Region IV Second Team and Region IV All-Tournament Team selection • a 2012 graduate of Michigan City High School • played four seasons for coach John Boyd and the Wolves • named team's MVP and team captain in his senior season • also lettered in cross country at Michigan City.
PERSONAL: Born Taylor August Lavery on Aug. 16, 1993 in Hammond, Indiana • son of Diane and Michael Lavery • has one older brother, Evan, who played basketball at Central Methodist University • plans to major in communications with a minor in coaching at UMD.
