Biography

BEFORE UMD
Is a graduate of Adel-Desoto-Minburn High School • started all four years at midfield for the Tigers • guided the team as captain of the squad to back-to-back state qualifiers in 2011 and 2012 • decorated with all-state accolades her junior and senior seasons • was also a four-time Raccoon River Conference selection • voted by her teammates as the Most Valuable Player  and Best Team Player • earned three letters as a guard for the Tigers’ hoops team • also captained the basketball squad her final prep year.

PERSONAL: Born Megan Lea Burditt on Dec. 28, 1994 in Adel, Iowa • daughter of Robert and Brenda Burditt • has one older brother (Alex).
