AS A BULLDOG:
2018: Hunkered down at the hot corner for 22 games and at the designated hitter spot another five outings ... ranked first among his teammates in sacrifice flies (four), was third in RBIs (22) and fourth in on-base percentage (.371) despite being injured for a sizable chunk of the season ... posted five multi-RBI games ... also stole the first three bases of his UMD career ... reached base 53.3 percent of the time when he led off an inning (only Brett Milazzo's 59.3 mark was better among Bulldogs).
2017: Ramped things up at the plate in his second year with the Bulldogs ... led the team in batting average (.480) and slugging percentage (.800)... racked up 25 hits in his final 14 games (collecting hits in 13 of those) ... hit four of his five home runs in the final eight games of the season, including two in a four-hit, six RBI performance against Augustana University on May 12 ... was second on the team with 26 runs batted in (behind only Tyler Midas with 38).
2016 Started three games while cracking the lineup in 10 games during his debut season ... started his Bulldog career with an RBI single in his first at-bat against Pittsburg State on Feb. 20 ... picked up a hit in a start against Walsh on March 10 ... drew a walk in a pinch-hitting appearance at Sioux Falls on April 10.
BEFORE UMD: Is a 2015 graduate of Irondale High School ... started four seasons for the Knights, serving as team captain as a senior · earned All-Northwest Suburban Conference honors during his sophomore and junior seasons ... voted team MVP in 2014 after leading the team in batting average and on-base percentage ... also started three seasons on the defensive line for Irondale football, earning All-Conference and Defensive Lineman of the Year honors as a senior.
