2016 (Junior) Served as UMD's primary reserve catcher in 27 games including 13 starts after transferring prior to the season · knocked in his first RBI as a Bulldog against Walsh on March 10 · dropped in a single for his first UMD hit against Wayne State (Mich.) on March 11 · ripped a pinch-hit three-run homer at Bemidji State on April 22 · had pinch-hit double and dropped down a sacrifice against Minot State on April 30.

BEFORE UMD: Spent the last two seasons playing collegiate ball at Longview Community College · a 2013 graduate of Blue Springs South H.S. · started two seasons playing catcher at the varsity level for the Jaguars · also played football as a quarterback at Blue Springs South.
PERSONAL: Born Dominic Vincent DeFeo in Blue Springs, Missouri · son of Judy Dale and the late Sean DeFeo · has two siblings, Kalee and Sammy · his uncle played professional baseball at the Double A level for the Erie Cardinals · plans to major in graphic design with a business minor at UMD.
