BULLDOG CAREER:
2016 (Junior) Toed the rubber in 12 games including nine starts for UMD · picked up his first victory of the season, throwing 7.0 innings without an earned run against Wayne State (Neb.) on March 10 · threw 4.0 innings to pick up a victory at Bemidji State on April 23 · struck out six in 6.0 innings against Minot State on May 1, picking up the win · allowed one run on three hits, striking out seven against U-Mary on May 7 · tossed 1.1 innings, giving up a run on one hit against Southwestern Oklahoma State on May 20 · NSIC All-Academic Team.
2015 (Sophomore) Took the mound 10 times and tied for the team high with nine starts · started the season opener, tossing 4.1 innings of one-hit ball to pick up his first collegiate victory · put together his strongest start of the season, striking out four and allowing just one run in a complete game effort against U-Mary on Apr. 26 · tossed seven innings of one-run ball against Winona State in the NSIC/U.S. Bank Tournament on May 7 · selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.
2014 (Freshman) Took the mound in 11 relief appearances including seven scoreless outings · struck out a pair in 2.0 shutout innings of Sioux Falls on Apr. 18.

BEFORE UMD: A 2013 graduate of Hermantown High School · played four years while starting three for coach Mike Zagelmeyer and the Hawks · received All-Lake Superior Conference and All-Area selections in his junior season · also played two years as a defenseman for the Hermantown soccer team.
PERSONAL: Born Kevin Matthew Stocke in Duluth, Minn. · son of Dave and Sue Stocke · brother Michael also pitched for the Bulldogs from 2012-15 · also has one younger sister, Samantha, and two half-siblings (Steven and Danielle Jeanetta) · member of Hermantown's National Honor Society · interests include hunting and fishing · majoring in accounting and finance at UMD.
