2017 (Freshman) Made six relief appearances for 5.1 innings of work · pitched to the tune of a 3.38 ERA (allowed just two earned runs) · struck out eight batters, including striking out the side - all swinging - against Minnesota Crookston on April 20.

Zuidmulder trained with the Bulldogs but did not see game action during a redshirt season in 2016.
BEFORE UMD: A 2015 graduate of Hermantown High School · started four seasons for the Hawks as a first baseman and pitcher · earned All-Lake Superior Conference and All-Section honors in his final three seasons at Hermantown · earned All-Conference honors twice and was voted the Conference Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in football · a 1,000-point scorer for the Hawks in basketball · also will compete on the Bulldog football team.
PERSONAL: Born Kole Robert Zuidmulder in Grand Rapids, Minn. · son of Kerrie and the late Kurt Zuidmulder · his father played football at the University of North Dakota and coached baseball at Hermantown High School · majoring in teaching mathematics at UMD.
