BULLDOG CAREER

2011-12 (As a Sophomore) - Came off the bench in all 27 games for UMD, averaging 21 minutes on the floor per outing -- more than any other non-starter • led all Bulldogs in free throw efficiency, making good on 85 percent of his attempts from the line • contributed on defense with 66 boards (2.4 per game), 17 steals and 10 blocks on the year • proved trustworthy in protecting the ball, posting a sparkling 62 assists (2.3 per game) against just 39 turnovers • turned a corner over the last seven games of the season, racking up three or more assists in each outing • put up by far the best statistics of his collegiate career during that stretch, decorating the ledger with averages of 6.6 points, and 2.4 rebounds per outing while racking up 34 assists (4.9 per game) against just six turnovers • recorded his first collegiate double-double in the quarterfinal round of the NSIC Tournament with 10 points and a career-high 10 assists as the Bulldogs fell to Southwest Minnesota State.   

2010-11 (As a Freshman) - Checked into all but one game in his first season of intercollegiate competition, making 10 starts • Saw just under 20 minutes per night and parlayed that into a scoring average of 6.0 points per game while shooting 46 percent from the floor • Racked up a career-high 16 points and tied a career-high with five rebounds Jan. 3 at Bemidji State. 

BEFORE UMD Graduated from Benilde-St. Margaret High School in 2010 • Guided the Red Knights to a berth in the Minnesota AAA State Tournament to end the ‘09-’10 season • Started on state championship team as a sophomore • Averaged 19 points per game as a senior • Named a Minnesota Mr. Basketball Top 25 Finalist to conclude his high school career • A recipient of the a  St. Paul Pioneer Press honorable mention selection for the 2010 All-State team. 

PERSONAL Born Peter James Crawford on August 18, 1991, in Minneapolis • Son of James and Kae Crawford • Has a brother, Nate • Father played basketball and football at UMD and brother played one season of football for the dogs• Undecided on major at UMD.
