BULLDOG CAREER
2016 (Junior) Started all 19 games for the Bulldogs • knocked in her first collegiate goal against Concordia-St. Paul •  scored the game-decisive knockout blow against Minnesota Crookston on Oct. 28 • picked up a shot in nine games • played 90 or more minutes in nine games • tabbed a season-high nine shots as she shifted her role to a defensive midfielder • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.

2015 (Sophomore) Started 17 games for UMD • notched a shot-on-goal against St. Cloud State on Sept. 15 • had one shot in five different games for the Bulldogs • played all 110 minutes in UMD's 2-2 tie at U-Mary on Oct. 18 • selected to the NSIC All-Academic Team.

2014 (Freshman) Appeared in 17 games, including eight starts, for the Bulldogs in her debut season • started eight straight games from Sept. 28 until Oct. 23 for UMD • averaged 57 minutes of action in UMD's two playoff games against Augustana on Nov. 5 and Winona State on Nov. 7 • earned her first collegiate assist on Oct. 4 in the Bulldogs' 1-0 victory over Sioux Falls • had her first shot on-goal of the season a day later against Southwest Minnesota State.

BEFORE UMD A 2014 graduate of Denfeld High School • started three years at center midfield and served as a two-year captain of the Hunters • led Denfeld to the Minnesota State High School League tournament in 2013 • earned All-Lake Superior Conference honors as a junior and senior • named All-Area by the Duluth News Tribune in 2013 • played club soccer for Gitchi Gummi and UMD assistant Kelly Grgas-Wheeler • also played guard on the Denfeld basketball team.

PERSONAL Born Emily Rachel Fleissner on Apr. 29, 1996 in Duluth, Minn. • daughter of Kelly and Betty Fleissner • one of three Fleissner sisters along with Anna and Sarah • attended UMD full-time during her senior year of high school • mother, Betty, is an instructor at UMD and an alum of Bulldog basketball and volleyball while father, Kelly, played football at UMD • member of Key Club, Link Crew, and National Honor Society • majoring in environmental science at UMD.
