BULLDOG CAREER:
2016-17 (Junior) Started all 29 games for the Bulldogs while leading the team with 32.3 minutes per game • scored a career-high 16 points against Michigan Tech on 5-for-8 shooting • tallied seven points, seven assists, and four rebounds at St. Cloud State on Jan. 17, 2017 • made good on 44-of-50 (88 percent) from the free throw line • knocked down four three-pointers in three games • scored 10 or more points in four of six games from 11/22-12/10 • racked up 82 assists while turning the ball over just 36 times (2.8 assist-to-turnover ratio).
2015-16 (Sophomore) Started 18 games while appearing in all 29 for the Bulldogs, averaing 22.6 minutes • became a more consistent scoring threat averaging 5.3 points and 2.1 rebounds on the year • scored 12 points, a career-high, for the first time against Bemidji State on Feb. 5 • scored 11 points, hitting a trio of three-pointers at  St. Cloud State on Feb. 19 • netted four three-pointers to match his season high of 12 points while dishing four assists at Augustana (S.D.) on Jan. 16 • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.
2014-15 (Freshman) Started four games while competing in 29 in his debut season with the Bulldogs • scored a season-high nine points on 3-of-4 from three-point range at MSU-Moorhead on Feb. 13 • scored seven points to go with a season-high four rebounds in 31 minutes against Northern Michigan on Nov. 25 • scored six points and dished seven assists in his collegiate debut against Lincoln (Mo.) on Nov. 14 • scored seven points and three assists in the regular season finale against Minot State on Feb. 21.

BEFORE UMD: A 2014 graduate of Kaukauna High School • played three seasons and started two for coach Michael Schalow (his father) and the Galloping Ghosts • earned All-Fox Valley Association honors as a junior and senior captain • selected as an all-conference and all-state "all star" as a senior • named team MVP as a senior • earned academic excellence and basketball excellence awards in each of his final three seasons.

PERSONAL: Born Kyle James Schalow in Freeport, Illinois • son of Dawn and Michael Schalow • has one brother, Jake • Plans to major in Accounting at UMD.
