2018-19 (Freshmen) Played in 9 games as a freshmen and achieved an average of 3.1 minutes per game and 0.2 rebounds.
Smith received a medical redshirt in 2017-18.
BEFORE UMD: A 2017 graduate of Kaukauna High School • three year starter for head coach Mike Schalow (father of current Bulldog Kyle Schalow) and the Ghosts • earned All-Fox Valley Association first team and All- State honorable mention accolades after junior season • was sidelined due to injury senior season • led Kaukauna High School to its first Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Championship during the 2015-16 season • holds the Ghosts all-time record for shooting efficiency • is planning to major in education at UMD.
PERSONAL: Born Adam Smith in Appleton,Wis. • son of Don Smith and Barb Boness • one of six siblings • while at Kaukauna, served as Ignition mentor • was named the Post-Cresent Scholar for the Week (Nov. 6, 2016) • is majoring in finance at UMD.
