BULLDOG CAREER
2018 (Junior) Made a successful transition to the back line as she was a cornerstone on the defense playing and starting all but one game • notched 1,093 minutes of playing time and went the distance twice including going all 93 minutes in the road match against St. Cloud State • chipped in two assists, one versus Minnesota Crookston on Sept. 14 and one versus Southwest Minnesota State on Oct. 19 • help shutout seven opponents including back-to-back 2-0 wins over Northern State and MSU Moorhead • took 12 shots overall and seven shots on goal, the second most by a defender • recorded eight shots in a span of five games with a season-game high three attempts at Upper Iowa.

2017 (Sophomore) Grabbed one of the midfielder starting roles in her second full season • corralled 11 starts and 13 total appearances after fighting off the injury bug • logged 862 minutes of action including playing the full 90 on two occasions • fired five of her nine shots on goal, good for a .556 percentage • became one of seven Bulldogs to record her first collegiate point on the season • dished out an assist in the 3-1 victory over Michigan Tech on Sept. 10 • selected to the NSIC All-Academic Team.

2016 (Freshman) One of the lone freshman to make a significant impact early, starting all 19 games for the Bulldogs on the back line • picked up her first shot on goal against Southwest Minnesota State on Oct. 16 • played in every minute of nine games • logged 82.7 minutes per game on the season.

BEFORE UMD A 2016 graduate of Centennial High School • started for the past three seasons for head coach Ginger Flohaug and the Cougars • participated in the MSHSL State Tournament in each of her three seasons • named All-North Suburban Conference in each of the past three seasons • voted 2015 All-State team and 2014-15 All-State Tournament Team • served as team captain as a senior • played alongside fellow Bulldog recruit Nan Glinsek • also participated in track & field.

PERSONAL Born Mikayla Marie Iaquinto on Jan. 27, 1998 in Minneapolis, Minn. • daughter of Shannon and Rick • has one brother, Tyler • while at Centennial, participated in peer leadership and served as a mentor for grade school children • plans to major in exercise science at UMD.
