AS A BULLDOG: Is one of just three letterwinners the 2013 Bulldogs retain from a year ago.

2011-12: Took part in all 17 matches and had a 7-10 singles record (mainly No. 4 and 5) to show for it ... Was an impressive 7-1 at No. 3 doubles and 8-6 overall.

BEFORE UMD: Is a 2011 graduate of Kohler High School ... Was a four year starter and letterwinner ... Earned All-Eastern Wisconsin Conference honors and All-Area first team recognition during all four years as a Blue Bomber ... Qaulified for the WIAA State Tournament three straight years (2009-2011) in the No. 1 doubles spot ... Was Voted the team's Most Valuable Player following her junior and senior seasons ... Served as team captain in her final season ... Also lettered in basketball, track, and soccer as a prep.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Kent and Lisa Saemann ... Has one older sister (Rachel) ... Is majoring in graphic design at UMD.
