2020-21 (Sophomore): Gorres did not play in 2020-21 due to injury. 

2019-20 (Freshman): In his first go round with the Bulldogs, Gorres was able to make 30 appearances with a 7.7 minutes a night average. He was able to drop 1.8 points per night while grabbing 2.1 rebounds. From the field, Gorres was able to hit .426 and a .400 clip from beyond the arc.

BEFORE UMD: Graduated from Park High School in Cottage Grove, Minn. • Listed at No. 15 ranked prospect in the Minnesota 2019 class by NorthStar Hoops Report • Averaged 17.1 points per game and 11.4 rebounds per game his senior season • Averaged 20.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 3.1 blocks as a junior, as well as earning all-conference award recognition for Park High School • He played travel AAU basketball with the Minnesota Fury club • A multisport athlete, Gorres also excelled on the football field for Park High School • He grabbed all-district distinction with most catches and receiving yards in his senior season • Entered as captain again in his fourth consecutive starting season.
