BEFORE UMD: A 2019 graduate of Deer River High School • led the team in kills and blocks in 2016 and 2017 at the helm of the Warriors' forefront for the last four years • helped the Warriors nab section runner-ups in 2016 and 2018 • participated in the Big Dog All Star Game  in each of the last thee seasons • tallied All-Iron Range Conference honorable mention status her freshman season then corralled all-conference first team honors the following two seasons • a recipient of the Duluth News Tribune All-Area Second Team as a junior and an All-Area First Team as a senior • sought highly by her teammates, naming her the MVP in 2017 and a senior captain • was a three-sport athlete at Deer River, locking up three all-conference citations in basketball and a multiple state qualifiers in the 200- and 400-meter races.
