Before UMD: Earned first team all-conference in 2019 first team honorable mention in 2020, and was placed first team all conference and all -state during her 2021 season. 

Personal: Is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Roettger and has a younger sister named Jaylen. She enjoys spending her time drawing, hiking, and fishing. Makenzie plans to major in Biology here at UMD
