BULLDOG CAREER 

As a Freshman [2011] - Hit the ground running in her first season as a Bulldog, entering all 18 games at the midfielder position • flashed offensive capability, finishing the season with two goals and four assists for eight points, good for fifth on the UMD scoring charts • registered first collegiate point by buring a goal in a 4-2 win at Upper Iowa Sept. 25 • put up points in three consecutive games from Sept. 25 - Oct. 2 as the Bulldogs rattled off a trio of wins against conference opponents • cracked the starting lineup for the first time Oct. 15 against Wayne State and never looked back, serving as a starter in UMD’s final seven outings • helped lead the Bulldogs to a 6-0 record in games in which she scored a point.

BEFORE UMD

Is a 2011 graduate of Duluth East High School • is the 18th native Duluthian to suit up for the Bulldogs’ soccer team •  was a two-year captain for the Greyhounds • lead her team to the state tournament in 2010 despite an injury that kept her sidelined • earned the “Most Inspirational Award as a junior • was the Duluth News Tribune’s Player to Watch for the 2008 season • was a single-year letter winner on the Duluth East basketball team as a point guard • laced up her cleats for the Greyhound softball team as an outfielder and earned three letters in the spring. 

PERSONAL

Born Kelli Lynn Klun on October 7, 1992 in Duluth, Minn.  • daughter of Dan and Julie ‘Hay’ Klun, who participated on the UMD women’s track and field team in the mid-eighties and was a former Bulldog All-American as well as a member of the UMD Athletics Hall of Fame (class of 2001) • has one older brother (Sean) and one younger brother (Derek)
