BEFORE UMD: Became more of a force with the Force manning the Fargo point in his second, and final year of United States Hockey League competition in 2011-12 … finished with 23 assists and 26 points in 60 regular season games to lead all 2011-12 Force defensemen in those two categories … tallied one goal and nine assists in 51 games the previous year while playing under then-Fargo head coach Jason Herter, now a Bulldog assistant … was a teammate of fellow incoming UMD freshman Austin Farley as a member of the Force ... is a 2010 graduate of International Falls High School … scored 19 times and helped set up 30 other goals in 26 outings while serving as a team captain for the Broncos during his final prep season en route to Duluth News-Tribune All-Area second team recognition … earned All-Iron Range Conference acclaim and an Associated Press All-State honorable mention selection in each of his final three high school seasons … also was a three-time all-conference performer with the Bronco baseball squad … is the latest in a line of 18 International Falls natives who have continued their hockey careers at UMD.
