2015 (Junior) Returned to the mound not in a starting capacity, but rather as the Bulldogs' closer, picking up six saves while posting a team-low 1.88 ERA · picked up back-to-back saves in his first two appearances with 2.1 hitless innings against Northwood (Mich.) on Mar. 13-14 · struck out four and earned the win in a season-high 3.0 innings against St. Michael's (Vt.) on Mar. 17 · pitched in both ends of a doubleheader, striking out three and allowing one hit in 2.2 innings, picking up a save against Winona State on Apr. 11 · posted a 0.875 WHIP with five perfect outings and eight allowing just a single baserunner.

2014 (Medical Redshirt) Received a medical redshirt after making six appearances on the bump, including five starts · tossed 4.0 scoreless innings against West Chester of Pennsylvania on Mar. 19 · struck out seven in a 7.0 inning start at Wayne State (Neb.) on Mar. 23 · threw 2.0 no-hit innings against U-Mary on Apr. 15

BEFORE UMD: A 2011 graduate of Green Bay East high school · started three years as an infielder and pitcher for coach Peter Bauer and the Red Devils ·  named first-team All-Fox River Classic Conference selection and All-District second team as a utility player in his senior campaign · also started four years as a guard for the Green Bay East basketball team and three years as a two-way player (safety, wide receiver) on the grid iron for the Red Devils.
