AT A GLANCE: 
- The main Athletic Training Center is located on the ground floor of the Sports & Health Center. Found in Room 25, UMD’s Sports Medicine Staff offers a variety of cutting edge treatments within the newly renovated Athletic Training facility.
- These treatments include, but are not limited to;
- dry needling.
- Blood flow restriction
- High-velocity low-amplitude thrust manipulation of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacroiliac joints.
- The Sports Medicine Staff is chiefly responsible for conducting injury rehabilitation within our two athletic training facilities. Team physician, Dr. Ben Nelson, evaluates patients on a weekly basis at the Athletic Training Center.
