BULLDOG CAREER:
2017 (Sophomore) Appeared in six games for the Bulldogs, starting one of them - his final appearance of the season against Augustana (S.D.) · struck out seven batters in 5.2 innings of work, including two in 2.0 relief innings against Minnesota Crookston on April 30.  
2016 (Freshman) Toed the rubber on eight occasions while becoming a reliable hand out of the Bulldog bullpen in his first collegiate season · picked up the victory in his collegiate debut against Slippery Rock on March 8 · after allowing four earned against Wayne State (Mich.) on March 11, allowed just three runs the entire rest of his season spanning 7.1 innings · picked up the win with 2.0 shutout innings at Sioux Falls on April 9 · struck out four in 2.0 innings against Minot State on April 30.

BEFORE UMD: A 2015 graduate of Little Falls Community High School · started each of the past three seasons for the Flyers · tossed 37.1 consecutive innings without an earned run in 2014, which ranks in the top ten in Minnesota high school history · earned All-Granite Ridge Conference honors in his junior season.
PERSONAL: Born Adam Arthur Hallberg in Little Falls, Minn. · son of Carl Hallberg and the late Elaine Hallberg · one of four siblings (Alissa, Emily, and Aaron) · majoring in computer & information science at UMD.
