Biography

Before UMD: 
The Ely Minnesota native was a four year started for Ely Memorial High School. Was named to the Iron Range All Conference Team for four years. Closed out his prep career with a spot on the All-State Class A Team. Was also named All-Arrowhead Conference for four years. During his senior campaign he postered a .494 batting average, going 40-for-81 with 16 doubles, three triples, and 27 RBIs all while scoring 24 runs. He also succeeded in the classroom graduating with honors.
