Josh Foreman

Certainly no stranger to UMD baseball, pitching coach Josh Foreman will embark on his third season with the Bulldog staff in 2013-14.

Contributing mostly as a pitcher, Foreman lettered four times at UMD under head coach Bob Rients from 2008-11, and immediately transitioned to the coaching ranks in 2012 after serving as a team captain in his final collegiate go-around.

Foreman led the Bulldogs in innings pitched in each of his final two collegiate seasons, and had his best year as a senior in 2011 when he went 6-2 with a 3.28 earned run average while hurling 60.1 innings. He made nine starts that season, striking out 44 batters and adding two saves on his way to landing All-NSIC second team honors, as well as earning a NSIC Golden Glove.

A native of Shawano, Wis., Foreman owns a degree in physical education from UMD.
