BULLDOG CAREER:
2016 (Junior) Received All-NSIC First Team honors while playing in 55 games, one shy of a Bulldog program record, including 54 starts · tied a rather dubious program record with 50 strikeouts, but launched 14 home runs and 19 doubles · his 77 runs scored surpassed the previous program record · reached based six times with two doubles, a home run, and three walks, driving in seven runs and scoring three times against Pittsburg State on Feb. 20 · slugged two home runs while going 3-for-4 with three runs scored against Minot State on May 1 · hit a home run and a double against Northern State in the NSIC Tournament on May 13 · drew three walks and scored four runs against Augustana in the NSIC Tournament on May 14 · selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.
2015 (Sophomore) Received All-NSIC Second Team honors and an ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region First Team selection · one of three players to start at least 50 of UMD's 51 games, while also making four appearances on the pitcher's mound · struck out six batters in 3.0 innings against Northwood (Mich.) on Mar. 13, picking up the extra-inning victory in his lone extended outing of the year · went 4-of-5, a season-high for hits, with two RBI and a double against Winona State on May 7 in the NSIC/U.S. Bank Tournament · closed the regular season on a six-game hitting streak, batting 10-for-22 with 12 RBI, 8 runs scored, and four HR from Apr. 27 to May 2 · slugged three HR in a two-game set against No. 1 St. Cloud State on Apr. 27 · voted UMD's most improved player by teammates · selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.
2014 (Freshman) Appeared in 23 games including 20 starts in his debut season with UMD · arrived on the D-II scene with a 4-for-4 game, driving in five runs on a double and a triple while scoring twice against Saint Michael's on Mar. 16 · drove in four runs including a three-run homer as UMD downed Sioux Falls 12-7 on Apr. 18 · appeared in seven games on the mound including one start · sniped his lone victory of the season by getting an extra-inning out before UMD walked off against Sioux Falls 5-4 on Apr. 19.
