AS A BULLDOG:

2021: Made 17 appearances, 16 of them coming in a relief setting, served as the Bulldog closer during the 2021 season. Tallied 36.2 innings pitched, a 5-2 record, a team best 2.70 era, a career high 27 strikeouts and two saves. Held opposing hitters to a .233 batting average while only surrendering 11 earned runs on 34 hits. 

2020: Made three appearances in a pandemic shortened 2020 season amassing 5.2 innings pitched, seven strikeouts and one save while only allowing six hits and two earned runs. 

2019: Made 12 appearances (accruing 34.2 innings) with all but two games coming as a reliever ... amassed a 3.89 earned run average and was one of five Bulldogs to earn a save ... struck out 26 (third on team) while only walking 10 ... received his first career collegiate win against the University of Mary on Apr. 20, 2019 in one of his two starts.
2018: Appeared in seven games (accruing 8.2 innings) with all but one of those coming as a reliever ...  received his only start to date on March 30 against Upper Iowa ... did not record an earned run in his final three appearances of the season.
BEFORE UMD: Is a 2017 graduate of Wabasha-Kellog High School ... started three seasons for the Falcons and captained them to a berth in the 2017 Minnesota Class A State Tournament  ... was named the most improved player by his teammates the previous spring (2016) ... saw ample time at catcher and played a fair amount at third base and in the outfield as well ... lettered in four sports at Wabasha-Kellogg ... was a state participant in golf as a senior and a 2017 Three Rivers All-Conference honorable mention selection in basketball ... also participated in baseball for three seasons.
PERSONAL: Born Liam Mackenzie Blaschko in Wabasha, Minn. ... is the son of Chris and Lalena Blaschko ... has two older siblings (Fletcher and Rowan) ... is majoring in business at UMD
