BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter for Stillwater High School. Was named both a team captain and team MVP during his senior year in 2021. Was a two-time all-conference defensive lineman during both his junior and senior seasons. Was named the Suburban East Conference Defensive Line MVP in 2021. Was named first-team all-state by the Associated Press. Also competed on the baseball team in Stillwater, starting his senior season in 2022.

PERSONAL: Parents are Erin Butterbrodt, Michael Wilson and Mike Peterson... is majoring in civil engineering while at UMD.
