2015 (Junior) Made four appearances out of the bullpen for UMD · tossed a shutout inning against Southwest Minnesota State on Apr. 8 · allowed one hit in a scoreless inning against Upper Iowa on Apr. 23.

2014 (Sophomore) Came on in relief in seven games for the Bulldogs including three scoreless appearances · picked up his first collegiate victory with 2.0 hitless innings against U-Mary on Apr. 15 · struck out three in 1.2 innings against Ohio Dominican in his collegiate debut on Mar. 13.

BEFORE UMD A 2012 graduate of of Watertown Mayer High School · started three seasons for coach Justin Stohs and the Royals · received All-Minnesota River Conference selection in his senior season  and was an honoroable mention his junior season · played basketball as a forward and football as a wide receiver while at Watertown Mayer.
 
PERSONAL Born Matthew John Schreder on July 11, 1993 in Waconia, Minnesota · son of Dan and Kris Schreder · has one older brother, Tom.
