BEFORE UMD:  Was a three-year football at Rice Lake High School ... played under head coach Dan Hill ... started two years at quarterback and was also the Warriors' primary punter for three seasons ... Two-time All-Big Rivers Conference (2012 and 2013) ... set Rice Lake High School career records for passing touchdowns and punting average ... team captain as a junior and senior ... prep teammate of fellow 2013 UMD freshman Trapper Ward... also lettered three yearrs in basketball (small forward) and in track (sprinter). PERSONAL: Is the son of Mike and Shirley Magee.
