BULLDOG CAREER
2017 (Junior) A reliable defender once again playing 1,497 minutes, 88.1 minutes per match, the third most among Bulldogs • started in all 17 games she played in tallying three points • assisted on the lone goal in the 1-0 shutout against Northern State on Sept. 24 • scored a goal versus Southwest Minnesota State on Oct. 14 • played every minute in seven contests • notched two shots on goal versus Bemidji State on Oct. 28 • was on the backline of five shutouts • was named one of UMD’s conference  preseason players to watch for.

2016 (Sophomore) Started 17 games for the Bulldogs • was a juggernaut on the pitch, logging a club-high 87.9 minutes per match • recorded first collegiate point against Northern Michigan on Sept. 11 • knocked in her first collegiate goal against Bemidji State on Oct. 30 • played all 110 minutes in four of UMD’s ties.

2015 (Freshman) Appeared in all 18 games and started 14 for UMD, including the final seven of the season • had three shots against Upper Iowa on Sept. 26 • notched one shot-on-goal in six different matches including three straight Oct. 23-30.

BEFORE UMD A 2015 graduate of Mahtomedi High School • played three varsity seasons on defense for the Zephyrs • earned All-Metro East Conference honors in both her junior and senior campaigns • voted the team's top defender as a junior • played for the NSSA Blast club soccer team, winners of three-straight Minnesota State championships.

PERSONAL Born Erika Alecia Hjort on Sept. 3, 1996 in St. Paul, Minn. • daughter of Theresa Jaros and Sam Hjort • has one sibling, Soren • received highest academic honors in high school • majoring in statistics and actuarial science at UMD.
