BEFORE UMD: A 2014 graduate of Rice Lake High School • played four years as a shooting guard for head coach Kevin Orr and the Warriors • twice named to the All-Big Rivers Conference Second Team •  voted most dependable by teammates in his junior season • played in the Border Battle All-Star game as a senior • voted a 2014 Honorable Mention All-Northwest Team • also participated in track & field, running relays, hurdles, springs, and jumping • named Rookie of the Year in track his freshman season •  set a school record in 4x400 relay as a junior.

PERSONAL: Born Brandyn Scott Christman on Nov. 23, 1995 in Duluth, Minnesota • son of Rena and Scott Christman • has one younger brother, Gannon • a member of National Honor Society, FCCLA, FBLA, student council, and youth leadership at Rice Lake H.S., while also making the A-honor roll • plans to major in pre-chiropractic at UMD with a minor in business.
