Jordan Riewer

Jordan Riewer joined the Bulldogs in May of 2024, and came to the Bulldogs with a wealth of basketball experience, both from the sideline and on the court. A coach of the AAU program MN Comets since 2019, Riewer played basketball professionally most recently for the KK Skrlijevo in Rijeka, Croatia in the Croatian Premijer League for the 2019-20 season. Before that, Riewer spent a season with the Central District Lions in Adelaide, Australia from 2018-2019.

In between professional stints, Riewer was an assistant men's basketball coach from 2017-18, where he paired up with current Bulldog head coach Justin Wieck, who was the Dragons first assistant at the time.

Riewer's professional basketball career started with the Oettinger Rockets in Germany, where he played in the German Pro A from 2015-19. After that, Riewer spent one season with the BK NH Ostrava of the Czech Republic in 2016-17.

At Minnesota State University Moorhead, Riewer was the 2014-15 NSIC Player of the Year and a NCAA DII All-American. Riewer, who still owns the second best career free throw percentage in the NCAA (94%), was coached by Wieck, an assistant coach, over his senior season in 2024-15.

Riewer graduated from MSMU in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and a minor in strength and conditioning.
