BULLDOG CAREER:
2018-19 (Junior) Played in 24 games this season after receiving a medical redshirt last season • Averaged 9.7 minutes per game • 0.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 5 steals • Scored a total of 5r1 points for the 24 games that he played • Took 3rd behind Jimmy Vollbrecht and Jake Paper for Field Goal Percent with 22 mde o the 36 attempted for a percent of .611 • Received .5 percent with 6 3-pointers made placing him 2nd behind Jake Papers.
Tomlinson received a medical redshirt in 2017-18.
2016-17 (Sophomore) Appeared in all 29 games for the Bulldogs while starting 12 times  • scored a career-high 19 points against Upper Iowa and MSU Moorhead • hauled in eight rebounds against St. Cloud State while scoring 12 points • played all 40 minutes against MSU Moorhead on Feb. 18 • assisted five times against Minnesota Crookston and added 13 points.
2015-16 (Freshman) Appeared in 12 games in a reserve role during his debut season averaging 4.3 minutes per game • netted his collegiate high of nine against Wisconsin-Superior on Jan. 6, adding two assists against the Yellow Jackets • grabbed a season-high two rebounds at MSU Moorhead on Dec. 12 • averaged 1.1 points on the season.

BEFORE UMD: A 2015 graduate of Washburn High School • started four seasons for Coach Gasperini and the Castle Guards • led Wasburn to back-to back undefeated Indian Head Conference championship seasons and a Wisconsin state tournament appearance • all-time leading scorer at Washburn, earning first team all-conference honors each of the past three seasons, including Player of the Year selections as a junior and senior • made the All-Wisconsin First Team as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born Cody Lee Tomlinson in Ashland, Wis. • son of Jolene and Lee Tomlinson • one of three Tomlinson siblings (Jacob and Kailey) • is majoring in business at UMD.
