2022-23 (Senior): Middleton started in 14 games and appeared in all 36 games for the Bulldogs during his senior year campaign. Middleton continued to be prolific from the free throw line, topping the team in free throw percentage with multiple attempts (86.5%), and ended the season averaging 8.9 points per game with 319 total throughout all 36 games.

2021-22 (Junior): Middleton started in all 31 games for the Bulldogs this year. Middleton was a reliable ball handler for the Bulldogs as he was tied for fourth in the conference with a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio. Middleton led the team in assists as he averaged 3.0 assists per game. Middleton was also once again one of the most efficient three-point shooters in the conference as he shot 43.4% from three point range. Middleton was one of five Bulldog starters to average double-digit points per game this season. 

2020-21 (Sophomore): Middleton appeared in 11 of 13 games for the Bulldogs in 2020-21 of those 11 he started nine games. With more opportunity came more scoring from Middleton in his sophomore campaign, as he averaged 12.2 points per game, shot 49.4% from the field over the course of the season including a team and conference high 56.9% from beyond the arc. Middleton also led the Bulldogs when it came to dishing out assists as he averaged 3.1 per game in the 2020-21 campaign. Middleton upped his rebound per game total as he collected 3.5 per game compared to 1.8 in during the 2019-20 season. He was exceptional from the free throw line converting on 27 of his 30 opportunities good for 90% on the season.  

2019-20 (Freshman): Middleton made 31 appearances in his freshman campaign while starting one. Over the course of his first year, Jack was able to average 4.4 points a game in 17.3 minutes a night. He shot at a .373 clip over the course of the year while hitting .354 from beyond the arc and dished out 26 assists on the year. He managed to snag 11 steals with five blocks and hit .737 from the charity stripe. Middleton would finish the year with a 1.8 (56) boards per night.

BEFORE UMD: Middleton was ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the Minnesota 2019 class by NorthStar Hoops Report • As a senior, he averaged 24.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for Edina High School under Coach Joe Burger, leading the Hornets to a 19-9 record in the difficult 4A Lake Conference • Middleton shot 82% from the line and 41% from behind the arc • He was a four-year varsity letter winner, two-year captain, and three-time all-conference selection • A member of Edina’s 1000-pt Club and Mr. Basketball nominee, he received Academic All-State honors and was selected to play in the MBCA All-Star Series after his senior season at Edina • He played AAU basketball with the Minnesota Fury club.
