Biography
2022-23 (Junior): Meister appeared in all 36 games for the Bulldogs throughout his junior season. He continued to be an efficient interior offensive presence, shooting 56-97 (.577) from the field and 39-62 (.629) from the line for 151 points through 427 minutes of play. He also led the team in blocked shots with 37 and and field goal percentage.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Lincoln Meister took a big step for the Bulldogs this year as he provided a big inside presence for the Bulldogs this season. Meister appeared in 30 games for the Bulldogs and started in two games. Meister was efficient from the offensive end of the floor as he shot 63% from the field on the season. Meister was also second on the team in blocked shots for the Bulldogs. Meister tallied a season and career high of 18 points against Northland College
2020-21 (Freshman): Meister missed the majority of the 2020-21 season due to injury. Meister did however make appearances in the final two games of the year for the Bulldogs, he averaged 2.5 rebounds per game.
BEFORE UMD: Meister comes to UMD from a productive high school career in Rochester. He comes in after being ranked as the No. 31 ranked Minnesota 2020 class prospect per Prep Hoops Minnesota. he made a huge jump in production from his junior to senior year, going from 11.9 points to 22.1 and 6.8 rebounds to 9.1 rebounds per game. He earned Big 9 All-Conference awards in both his junior and senior season. He also excelled in the class room, being awarded the John Marshall excellence in Science and Mathmatics award.
PERSONAL: Lincoln is the son of Kurt and Angie Meister... was born in Rochester, Minn.... is majoring in Physics at UMD.
