AS A BULLDOG:
2021: Appeared in sixteen games for the Bulldogs starting 13. Tallied eight hits and drove in six runs. Recorded 81 putouts and 10 assists while managing a fielding percentage of .978

2020: Appeared in three games and started one during the shortened 2020 campaign. Tallied three hits in four at-bats including a round-tripper. Drove in three runs and worked one walk. 
2019: Started 11 games in his rookie campaign while appearing in 22 over the season ... recorded his first collegiate hit on Mar. 12, 2019 against Notre Dame College where he hit a double ... had nine total bases on the season.

BEFORE UMD: Is a 2018 graduate of Esko High School ... shined both at -- and behind -- the plate for three seasons... landed All-Polar League honors in 2017 and 2018 ... hit .537, and drove in 36 runs in 2017 en route to securing a spot on the 26-member Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association Class AA All-State team (the only non-senior to attain that honor) ... also posted a 1.030 slugging percentage --  thanks to five homers, 10 doubles and four triples -- and a .629 on-base percentage that spring  ... was a Duluth News-Tribune All-Area pick in 2017 as well ... started three years at running back and linebacker for the Eskomos, attaining All-Section honors on two occasions.

PERSONAL: Born Tyler William Peterson in Duluth, Minn. ... is the son of Tom and Leslee Peterson ... has four siblings (Derrek, and triplets Alec, Alayna and Matthew) ... is majoring in business at UMD.
