BEFORE UMD: Earned plenty of ice time, scoring stats and respect during his two seasons of United States Hockey League play with the Fargo Force ... accumulated 43 points on 20 goals and 23 assists in 50 regular season games during his final USHL go around in 2012-13 ... also finished in a tie for seventh among 2012-13 USHL combatants in plus-minus (+34) ... sat out over 20 percent of the 2012-13 regular season while nursing an injury ... resided atop the Fargo scoring charts during their 13-game playoff run last spring, coming away with six goals and 13 assists ... contributed 32 points (17 goals and 15 assists) to the Fargo offensive attack as a USHL rookie, doing so in 58 regular season appearances. ... was a Force teammate of current UMD sophomores Austin Farley and Willie Corrin in 2011-12 and fellow Bulldog newcomber Dominic Toninato the ensuing season ... spent two years with the Eden Prairie High School varsity before bypassing his senior season to skate with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres in 2010-11 ...
