UMD Athletics

Cassidy is in her 4th year as an Athletic Trainer at the University of Minnesota Duluth. For Pierce’s first two years at UMD she served as a Resident Athletic Trainer working with men’s hockey. Following the completion of the residency program, she got hired full time on campus to provide care for women’s soccer and men’s basketball. Cassidy also serves as the assistant Athletic Trainer for men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.

Pierce earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Mary and then went on to earn her Master of Athletic Training from the University of Mary as well. Pierce has a certification in Dry Needling; she is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is a Certified Instructor through the American Red Cross.

Pierce is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and MN State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
